ATTACKING A FLAG:​​​​​​​​​​​

​(eg; KHARG- Departing the GAS STATION flag and attacking OFFICES)
Team moves off north on foot from Gas Station towards Offices. Recon or Support takes up a covering position (OVERWATCH) at the 3 story building to the south of OFFICES. Overwatch role is to; spot/shoot targets/deploy gadget/spawn beacon. Remainder of team spreads out to take flag and kill enemies.

DEFENDING A FLAG:​​​​​​​​​​​
Once flag is captured and it is decided to defend it the members deploy mines / resupply ammo etc. Squad members each then cover different enemy approaches as discussed within the team. Overwatch to remain in pl​ace or regroup with squad.

​REDEPLOY:
The team could move onto the next target and apply the same tactics – providing it is suitable for the terrain etc. The tactic of deploying Overwatch in a support role while the remainder of the team hits the target is a simple tactic that is easily repeated. An emphasis is on open communication by all players to to provide input/suggestions regarding tactics.

With experience, the Overwatch will learn to quickly deploy to the ideal (predesignated) cover position/s for each individual flag on each of the maps. Remember these postions could vary depending on the direction you have approached from and/or enemy activity in the area. The same goes for defending locations, where a team will quickly return to the covering locations they have used earlier that work the best.​​​​​​
