COMBAT EFFICIENCY

ACE SQUAD

SQUAD LEADER TO SQUAD LEADER COMMS:
* At least one person in each squad (eg, Squad Leader) to have CHANNEL COMMANDER or SQUADTALK (see below for explaination)
* Squad Leader should attempt to generally focus more on directing/co-ordinating squad/s before focusing on gunplay
* BOTH squad leaders to work toward the same objective / target at all times
* It is important to regularly update what your squad is doing using Channel Commander/Squadtalk, AND the other squad leader should ALWAYS reply and advise their POSITION & ACTIVITY
* Do not move away from the agreed plan until advising/discussing with the other squad leader.
Eg;
SQUAD A LEADER: “City is clear, lets go to the Hotel“
SQUAD B LEADER: “Copy, leaving City for Hotel now“
SQUAD A: “We're defending city”
SQUAD B: “We are leaving hotel now for city”
SQUAD A: “We're 30 seconds (or 200 metres) away from veterans”
SQUAD B: ”We're capping veterans now”
SQUAD A: “We are still clearing Construction”
SQUAD B: “We are also at construction”

TACTICS III

CHANNEL COMMANDER
The CHANNEL COMMANDER is a Teamspeak3 feature that allows a squad leader to speak to other squad leaders only on a different channel to the normal TS3 squad channel. This separate channel is used to co-ordinate two or more squads working together against the same target. There is only one Channel Commander per 4 man squad – He does not have to be the Squad Leader in game. Another key is assigned for this feature. See below video for setup info.
SQUADTALK and CHANNEL COMMANDER are just ways to ensure that we are all working on the same objective and should take up only a miniscule of VOIP comms time. The rest of the time everybody is talking on the normal TeamSpeak3 channel within their squad as per normal squad chat.
SQUADTALK:
Squadtalk allows a player (Squad Leader or other) to talk to his entire team (that are using the same Teamspeak3 channel) as well as the other 3 players in his squad. Please assign another key for this feature. (THIS FEATURE IS CURRENTLY OFFLINE)
